    Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find more songs like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new.

    The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson (short hair on the right) and Scott LePage (long hair on the left), and it's quite clear in the solo section. Polyphia got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie helped him out in an unorthodox way to save the show, very funny clip.
    Tim Henson said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song.

    The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc, not sure if this statement will be the same now that they got a full new album.
    Song is inspired by certain "city pop" band (city pop is a subgenre widely known in Japan) and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about it being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly.

    Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together.
    They did it again at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix.
    They finished the Europe Tour and they did it along with EC playing their collab song twice at Resurrection Fest in Spain.
    Next is coming Asian Tour and after that American Tour.

    Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it.

    In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one.
    In a more recent interview BM said that they would love to collab along with Fall Out Boy, can you imagine?👀

  6. Great reaction. The song itself is nearly 5 years old and was on BABYMETAL's third album Metal Galaxy released in 2019.

    Tim and Scott recorded the guitar tracks for the original studio recording, but they didn't hear the completed song until the album was released.
    A couple of months ago BABYMETAL arranged, hosted and headlined their own festival – FOX_FEST – in Tokyo. Polyphia was one of the bands they invited to play – so of course we all guessed that finally they would get the chance to perform this song live together for the very first time.

    It is definitely one of BABYMETAL's most mellow songs – but they do everything and they do it well, which is why they can collaborate with so many different artists and blend in with them all.

  7. Thanks again and good morning from Japan 有難う💛。(It's already 9:45 am here in Tokyo though 😄) "Brand New Day" is a good song to start your day refreshingly.

    I witnessed this artistic play at the venue (2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest). What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. In addition, classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides❤. Various elements created by 3 beautiful performers and 6 instrumentalists (4 guitars in total + bass / drum) with virtuosity were mixed and sublimed into one beauty by means of something like alchemy. The actual applause at the end of the song was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video.

    They did it together again in Belgian festival on June 20.
