It seems like she's trying to pretend like it's just a regular K-pop dating scandal by saying that she "got caught" dating him. The implication being that her privacy was invaded, when she announced it to the world. And him saying that people could have been hurt because of his silence when he knows for a fact that more videos were shared after he chose to stay silent makes it seem like he's trying to trick the world into thinking that it might not have been a big deal, when it clearly was.
Honestly, she knew what she was getting into when she starting dating that guy, all the hate is deserved.
