  1. All the B sides from their solo albums are also worth a listen. You just missed Wheein's new song Coco Water. Now you've seen these solos you can watch the concert where they do each other's songs.

  2. thanks for reacting to their solos, if you watched MMMTV from the beginning, you would find out many scenes where solar and wheein rap together casually and calling themselves MC dduk and MC ddak coz solar love to rap.

  3. Twit is actually a pretty deep song. It’s about a relationship Hwasa had earlier on in her career. She was busy with her schedule and so she didn’t really have all that much time to focus on their relationship. But he was very invested in her to the point of it feeling suffocating to her. She wanted him to have some kind of life outside of her, but I guess he was satisfied just waiting on her. So she calls him a twit for not finding other interests or friends to make him happy when she couldn’t be there. She calls him “Shim Cheong” who is a beloved character from Korean folklore who represents being selfless in their love for others. She kind of says it in a way that seems like she’s insulting him, but really she’s acknowledging that he is better than her in their relationship.

In the end she realized that she was the twit because she let go of someone who cared for her deeply. She blamed herself for not appreciating what she had. Which is why in the second chorus she calls herself a b that made him sick.

It sounds upbeat, but it’s really a sad song. I love how open she is, even when it means showing an ugly side of her. Most people have a hard time even admitting something like this to themselves, never mind sharing it with the world. It’s part of why I love her music so much. She also uses a lot of imagery in her MVs that add to the depth of the lyricism. DKDK TV has breakdowns of Twit, Maria, and LMM if you’re ever interested to check them out. You don’t have to record it, but it definitely adds a lot of contexts and explains some Korean themes you may miss otherwise.

  4. mamamoo is my favorite group, Solar my favorite singer world wide and these songs are all awesome. Interesting for these is their world tour last year, I saw it myself live in Los Angeles, they part switch, Solar sings water color, Wheein sings Honey, Moonbyul did twit, Hwasa did Eclipse. Then as a group together they did Lunatic, Spit it out, Make me happy and Maria. It was unreal to see it live and they wore each others outfits as well. Also on Solarsido, Moonbyul and Solar part switch some mamamoo songs and Lunatic and Honey, so if you want to see Solar rap Lunatic and Moonbyul sing Honey then watch that video. (there are other part switch videos, Solar and Changsub(BTOB) so you will hear a BTOB member singing mamamoo songs and Solar singing BTOB songs.
