Sorry people this is not The Voice nor the Immortal Song show or ballad only competition. They are covering a song that suits best to their ability with a new arrangement according to given theme. Seeing people hating on them is just stupid acts as they already knows what can be done or shouldn't be done in proposal and rules before entering. Second World is where idols who are acting as rappers in their respective group where they are only limited to only rap with short lines in their discography to shine on their own in the stages. People are saying they understand the assignments but the truth is they doesn't have a clue what this is all about. Music have many genres but it seems like some of you know none about it.

If it really is going to be like this for the rest of the show then I hope Exy just leaves. No need for her to prove anything more to people who actually know shit and doing Queendom-like stuff again to win, except it's solo, which might be even more absorbing and mentally straining. All the C-19 bullshit and the recent car accident make a good "get out of jail for free" card. If she can't win by staying true to the initial premise of the show that she resonates with, it's not going to blow up on the internet either and there is no more massively positive aspects of being there only insiders might know about then why wouldn't she at least consider using it?
What I learned from this clip: 4 of the judges need hearing aides. Not hating on Mimi, but Exy's performance was stellar & she understood the assignment

i like exy's performance more. they're supposed to show their vocals. rapping and dancing has no relation with vocals, i only know that this show is about to show their vocals not their rapping or dancing abilities because this is not overall performances. the fact that exy just do what this show is about. i'm dissapointed on 4judges who vote for mimi (not hating mimi but saying my opinion) i hope in the next round exy will win. congrats mimi and better luck next time exy.

Okay, I thought this is a singing competition.. I think the show and the judges has to make their criteria to judge clear to every participant or the judges has to understand their assignment better in a singing competition.. Both did well, but it’s a vocal competition not flashy performance competition.. So, I just don’t get their judgment criteria..

Mimi is born to be a rapper. Even if this is a vocal contest, you can't erase the fact that a rapper is a rapper. A true rapper would always include rap in their performances and you will never lose that identity and ofc writing lyrics which Mimi do btw. Some group's rapper were a actually a vocalist but force to be rapper bcoz they need rapper in the group but MIMI is a true born rapper.
This contest does not says pure vocal only right???, Are you expecting singing is just about ballad and highnotes???? She sing, rap, Djing, dancing and showcase her charisma. This is a competition if singing is not your biggest strength then show something that you are good at. Think outside the box. Anytime they can be eliminated, then why not showcase all. At least if you don't win people still see what you can do and good at.
The them is "I", they need to show who they are and discribe themselve through this performance.
It is not Mimi's fault that she go beyond what is required and your idol just give the minimum requirement. If you expect your fav to win, then probably your fav do not deserve to be in this contest. Instead of complaining and bashing the judges and Mimi why don't you encourage your fav to just enjoy the stage and show what she got in this way at least people would feel the fun and appreciate the performance more.
Mimi gives diff flavours l, she gives us a full course meal and FYI judges has ear piece so they can clearly hear contestants voice. The fact that 4 judges voted for her and a lot of views and korean comments mean she truly deserves to win. Her performance is Fun, memorable and versatile. She even dance without cracking.. I suggest you watch the fancam.
Mimi took a big risk in here. She has never been given an opportunity to showcase more her rapping and dancing. This program gives her the opportunity to show her MIMI as soloist. I don't care who WIN, I am just happy to see of Mimi perform and just enjoy the stage. WINNING does not guarantee popularity. You can go with your rules but for sure WIN or Lose MIMI will shine.

wasn't this suposed to be a vocal showdown? The exy girl did a lot better on the vocal department showing more skills but Mimi destroyed her on a performance level (but that wasn't supposed to be the main focus of this )

Firstly, i would like to start off by congratulating mimi for winning this performance and I believe that she is an excellent well rounded idol. But personally I felt like Exy did a better approach of showcasing her vocals in a vocal competition where the main theme of this competition is to reinvent rappers to be vocalists. I feel like a part of the show is losing its essence as the judges have started to judge not based on vocals but other aspects as well. The only judge that seemed to be in line with the objective of judging of vocals is Btob Eunkwang, he has shown consistency in fair judgement on vocals and stage presence only, while the other judges can be seen to sway to judge the overalls of the performance. Its not that overalls in performance are not important such as stage presence, crowd control and rap but the show is based to judge soley on vocals, so isnt it suppose to do so? This is very jarring to see as mimi won 4 to 1 despite showcasing less of her vocal abilities. I am sure that mimi has excellent vocal abilities that she is going to showcase for us during the next round. I will be looking forward to the Second world! I wish all the contestants good luck!
For me I voted for seonyu, moon sua and moonbyul's performances as they showcase clear vocal abilities and their stage presence and flow is simply impeccable. I am really elated that this show was even broadcasted as it shone a light and gave idol rappers a platform to showcase their vocals which are majority shoved under the rug in kpop. I will be anticipating the winner of this show and I hope that all the contestants have fun!
