26. The amount of hate that Sooyoung got from some k-netz here in the comment section is just too much just so because she said that she has read the book. Not just as a fan but as a woman, I understood what Sooyoung said regarding the book. I've also experienced it in real life on where I was continuously being picked/teased /hit by boys and it was justified by people around me like my teachers and even parents and just keep on saying that "they do that because they like you" which is also not right. Yeah? They do that because they want to have some attention from me etc? But don't they understand that it's also uncomfortable? It was so normalize that when someone voice out their opinion on this matter like what Sooyoung did, she would be heavily criticized. Done a quick research and learned that actress Bae-Suzy and Red velvet Irene also received undeniable amount of hate when they stated that they've watched the film/read the book but male singers and actors have mentioned the book too – including RM of BTS – and they don't seem to face as much scrutiny as their female counterparts. If that doesn't speak volume then I don't know anymore.
