The rivality between half-brothers and a rich father who only loves his children if they dance to his tune. The love that blossomed between Ji-hoon and Hye-soo was very beautiful to watch. How Ji-hoon tried to do everything with Hye-soo despite living "in due time" is amazing to watch. I don’t know all the details with Hyesu and her former mother-in-law but for seven years she was struggling to raise her child and payoff her deceased husbands debt her husbands family did nothing to help. But still believe they have a right to control her love life. I personally have little patience with weak naive women leads in dramas rather they be wealthy or poor. Hyesu is a good hard working mother, it’s obvious that Jihun is growing closer to the mother and daughter. Causing his greedy rotten step brother and mother to make wave of breaking off with his dad.
It’s a shame you can’t trust friends with the most sensitive secrets, Hyesu was wrong in telling her mouthy friend to many details about her contract in the first place. You knew the secret would get out when her friend Ju-Yeon made a surprise visit to the restaurant Hyesu worked, over-exposing herself causing the nosy relative to pay her a visit to find out what’s between Mr Han and Hyesu. The big mouth friend could not wait to conveniently spill what she knew. All of a sudden these wayward family members is concerned with Hyesu’s life. Nauseating!
