새로운 물결을 일으킬 사전적 의미 ‘New Wave’ 와 더불어 확장자명 wav를 차용한 새로운 음악 ‘New.wav’의 의미를 더해 음악의 새로운 물결을 일으키자는 프로젝트의 목표를 함축적으로 담아내었다.

두 번째 주자로 언제나 좋은 음악으로 신뢰를 쌓아가며, 믿고 듣는 아티스트로 성장한 ‘청하’가 바통을 이어받는다.

Album Review

내 안의 작고 작은 어둠이 불안이라는 열매를 먹고 자라 번지고 번져 큰 파도가 되어 나의 온몸을 덮친다. 마음의 수면이 흔들리고 몸의 수평이 무너져 나를 지탱할 수 없을 때, 괜찮다는 말로 스스로를 일으켜 세우는 반복되는 노력조차 무겁게 느껴질 때, 나의 마음을 열어 하나 둘 꺼내는 솔직한 문장들이 어떠한 위로보다 크게 다가올 때가 있다.

겨울의 메타포는 차가움 만이 아닌 따뜻한 봄을 향한 기다림도 함께 하는 것처럼, 거친 파도가 치는 시련의 계절 안에서 봄을 기다리는 모두와 함께 나눌 수 있는 솔직한 대화를 곡에 담았다.

새벽 공기를 머금은 앰비언트와 함께 시작되는 곡은 어쿠스틱 악기들과 청하의 아름다운 목소리가 섬세하게 하나 둘 더해지며, 담담하게 마음을 털어놓는 순간에서부터 점점 고조되는 감정의 폭을 밀도 있게 담아내었다. 곡의 도입부에 삽입된 청하의 반려견 밤비의 소리는 곡을 듣는 재미와 함께 진솔한 대화의 시작을 알린다.

  39. 40대 중반.. 이렇게 시간이 빨리 지나가는구나.. 30대에는 좀더 나이를 먹고 자리를 잡아야지 했는데 점점더 시간의 흐름이 천천히 흘러준다면 하는 생각이 든다..20대. 30대.40대 철없이 지난 시간들이 내 소중한 친구와 사랑하는 가족들의 변화의 느낌을 아는 나이가 되니 아쉬운 생각.. 참 그래도 잘해왔어. 여러분들 모두 힘내기.!!
