アイドルグループ・Snow Manの向井康二が、黒柳徹子主演の朗読劇『ハロルドとモード』に出演することがわかった。同作は1971年にアメリカで公開された映画『ハロルドとモード』の舞台化作。ブラックユーモアを随所に散りばめながら、年齢差のあるちょっと変わった2人のラブストーリーと、生きることの楽しさをコメディータッチで描いている。79歳のチャーミングな女性・モードを演じるのは黒柳。1977年の来日公演を観劇して以来、出演を熱望していたという黒柳は2020年の公演以降、ライフワーク公演として上演を続けており、今年で4度目の上演となる。また、Snow Manの向井が、黒柳演じるモードに恋する19歳の少年・ハロルド役に決定。2020年公演の生田斗真、2021年公演のジャニーズWEST・藤井流星、2022年公演のSexy Zone・佐藤勝利からバトンを受け継ぎ、新たなハロルドを作り上げていく。IMPORTANT!
