Car 1, “KUROFUNE,” was designed to resemble a steamship sailing across the ocean under an endless blue sky, while discussing “aspirations” for a new era with fellow passengers, and to evoke the art of the late 19th century, which sprouted from the period of civilization’s opening to the West.

SORAFUNE
Car 2 “SORAFUNE” is based on the concept of a “dream” for the future that extends beyond the sky to outer space beyond the atmosphere, and is inspired by the imaginary scientific spaceships depicted in retro science fiction novels.
