The second track is so bomb! I wasn't expecting it, but I really like her music! Can i ask, is Saori still remembered in Japan? Like, was she famous during her time in the 70s?

So impressed she covered one of my favorite songs, I wonder if Albert Hammond has listened to the wonderful Saori san singing "It never rains in southern California", she made it great! But also the album is exquisite, she was that wonderful and the music is so interesting.

シングルカットされた「カリフォルニアの青い空」は新曲として夜ヒットでも歌われたそうですが、他のカバー曲もデビュー当時に比べ歌唱力の上達が見られますね。「風のささやき」など難しい曲も歌いこなしています。

アイドルの楽曲とは思えない、トータルコンセプト的なアルバムかと。当時の若者の価値観が詰まってそう。
このアルバムはリアルタイムで買い今でも持っています。
『忘れんぼさん』
この曲を再度聴けるとは思ってもみなかったです。たしか作・編曲は筒美だったかしら？電話もあり、テレビもあるというから、きっと両親兄弟がいない瞬間のつかの間の会話と逢瀬だったのでしょう。今でこそ昭和対平成生まれの対立構造が話題に登っているが、似たようなことで昭和48年当時にも戦前派と戦後派の価値観の大きな隔たりと衝突はあったものです。こういったことを大人（ほとんど戦前生まれ）は「不純異性交遊」などと見做されていた反面に、若者が己のすべてを擲った純愛物語を描いてくれたメッセージだと当時は受けとめていた。
