  1. An apology from Ellen: Since I tried to directly copy/follow HyunA’s outfits & hairstyles from her “I’m Not Cool” music video and live stage performances for this dance cover, I wanted to apologize for my hairstyle in the first look here with the usage of Bantu Knots, which have originated centuries ago with the Zulu tribes in Southern Africa. I was trying to mimic her hairstyle but it ended up looking a lil different and resembled Bantu Knots. I was not aware of this until some of you have very kindly told us about this issue right after I posted a story on Instagram, so I went and educated myself about this hairstyle along with its historical, social and cultural implications. I sincerely apologize for this and any inconvenience or discomfort it may have caused. It is important for us to stay more educated on this topic instead of blindly following and copying the K-pop artists’ looks no matter what they do. In support of the Black History Month and Black Lives Matter Movement, moving forward we will make a greater effort to stay informed, raise awareness, and do better! Hope you can still enjoy the dance cover and thank you all for always giving us feedback for us to improve 😊

  2. I wish to be able to rock these types of outfits like Hyuna and Ellen do. Thought only Hyuna could look so good in these wild outfits but Ellen looks amazing too
