俳優の高良健吾さんが2月14日、東京都内で行われた映画「悼む人」（堤幸彦監督）の公開初日舞台あいさつに登場。デビュー10周年の一作目を飾る主演作で「力が入っていた」と言う高良さんは、「色々考え過ぎていて、この映画の中でどう存在したらいいのかと毎日考えていた」と役作りの苦労を明かしながらも、「やっているときは大変だったけど、振り返るとすごく幸せな時間を過ごせていた」と充実した表情を見せた。
舞台あいさつには、共演の石田ゆり子さん、井浦新さん、貫地谷しほりさん、椎名桔平さん、大竹しのぶさん、堤監督も登場した。原作に感銘を受け、自ら出演を志願したという石田さんは「生みの親が天童さんで、育ての親が堤監督だとしたら、私は乳母ぐらいの気持ちでいます。それぐらい、この作品に出られて幸せでした」と語った。
映画は、作家の天童荒太さんが7年の歳月を費やして書き上げ、2008年に第140回直木賞を受賞した小説をもとに、堤監督が2012年の舞台化に続いて映画化を実現。不慮の死を遂げた人々を悼むために、全国放浪の旅をする坂築静人と彼をめぐる人々が織り成す人間模様を描いた「生」と「死」と「愛」の物語。

Actor Kengo Kora appeared at the greetings on the stage on the first screening day of the movie “The Mourner” (directed by Yukihiko Tsutsumi) held in Tokyo on February 14th.
Kora, who has “made great effort” in the movie in which he plays the main role, the first work to celebrate the 10th debut anniversary, revealed difficulties in the performance: “I have thought too much and wondered how to get through this movie everyday”, and showed emotional expression: “There were a lot of difficulties during the filming, but I realize that I have experienced a really happy time when looking back”
