such a shame rachmaninoff didnt write more for strings, absolutely love his sound on bass and cello timbre especially. Glad to see my favorite bassist queen in the world performed it 🙂

It’s amazing how different this wonderful string piece sounds when played by four cellos instead of four double bases…the same notes in the same register. The quality of the sound is uniquely different!
