CHUNG HA’s first ever Special Single “Killing Me” is uptempo, pop number piece and rhythmical vocal that describes a painful heartbreak. The chorus highlights CHUNG HA’s vocal colors and her writing abilities and she describes the repetition of everyday life and exhaustion.
Like the bright light at the end of a tunnel, CHUNG HA refocuses her message of hope in her lyrics for people.
청하의 첫 번째 스페셜 싱글 ‘Killing Me’는 가사 속의 기나긴 터널을 묘사하는 듯한 코러스 섹션의 신스와 미니멀한 프로덕션을 통해 청하의 리드미컬한 보컬이 강조된 업템포 팝넘버 곡이다. 코러스에서 다양한 베리에이션과 애드립은 청하의 다채로운 보컬리스트의 모습을 보여준다.
직접 작사에 참여한 청하는 매번 반복되는 일상, 갑자기 찾아오는 무기력함, 그리고 끝이 보이지 않는 답답한 상황들을 터널에 비유하여 기나긴 터널 끝에 눈부신 햇살이 우리를 기다리고 있다는 희망적인 메시지를 가사에 담았다.
