This video made me respect Ayaka so much more.. I didn’t watch the whole series and only saw some clips, so I didn’t see how hard and how much she actually improved throughout the whole show. I thought maybe she got in solely for her visual, but her dancing and singing got so much better! I can see what JYP saw in her now. I do think that her skills need to be improved more, but she works very hard and has a lot of potential. I can’t wait to watch her grow!

I just realize actually JYP put a lot of lacking trainess or weak trainee together with mako in order to improve. Mako leadership has shown many people improve after being together with her. Honestly sometimes i feel JYP favor ayaka because of her visual remain of suzy, ayaka might lack in skills but she is so eager to improve… she is getting better in each performance.
She was picked for visuals , end of ,it’s the kind of prejudice soyeon is fighting on my ‘teenage girl’ rn there was trainees who were so much more talented and worked just as hard as ayaka but were rejected beacause they didn’t have the ‘Suzy-like’ visual that jyp loves

Ayaka was always a favorite for the Japanese audience..like Tzuyu was during Sixteen.. because people watched the show without getting a audience vote like in sixteen people tend to neglect this fact. Also she was chosen time and time again by far more people than only JYP itself.. Sana and Momo said they were impressed by her during the camp show and the trainers and staff had only amazing things to say about her. She worked hard and did it always with an amazingly humble attitude. As far as I am concerned with a person like that in any group you can be sure to see improvement even 10 years from now.
My all time Niziu Bias is princess ayaka. Her stage presence is magical
