2. Have you seen XG's pre-debut content? Its a partnership between YG Japan and Avex (Hikaru's company). Its some of the most insane stuff i've ever seen. They are positioning themselves as an international girl group and not just Jpop

Dunno if it's been mentioned in a previous Babymetal video or not, but one of the Avengers (stand in members dancing in Yui's spot after she left the group) was Mokomo, who entered in GP999 (she was in Yujin's orginal cell). Since the Avengers weren't officially named (although most fans figured out who they were), this was probably the reason it was never mentioned in GP999.

   Also kinda related, Yurina from GP999 is a big Babymetal fan and went to a concert that Momoko performed in.

6. Good thing you watching the original clips and not live compilations in your first time watching a BM song. This set of songs belong to the final three songs of the same live concert at Legend 1997 (2013) SuMetal 16th birthday and is really special, the whole concert concept round around Death and Rebirth, that's why this set and meaning are so important, it represents the sacrifice of SuMetal jpop idol human form becoming a metal queen goddess, Fox God has blessed all of us, NotACult 🦊🤘
   The gong at the end of Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! is a reference to X-Japan songwriter and composer, Yoshiki, in the official MV you will also see the neckbrace reference for the first time there, Yoshiki is metal god living legend and he suffered serious injuries after headbanging hard during a live concert. But the lyrics song talks about a 15 yo girl who goes to her very first concert (probably metal and probably an X-Japan live concert) and the melancholy of leaving her childhood behind. 15 is an important date for the girls in Japan and many other countries in Latinamerica. The statue at the back is Metallica tribute to And Justice For All song and Lady Justice statue crumbling down at the end of the song, just like you saw at the end of Babymetal Death.
   You probably already heard Akatsuki original version which is power speed metal and full of emotions too, is one of the four SuMetal solos, the others are "Rondo Of Nightmare" (recommend to watch with the Kami Band intro also called Mischiefs Of God Intro), "No Rain No Rainbow", and "Amore". The original version got full lyrics, this ballad or melodic piano version got less lyrics that's what is called "Unfinished", it was performed only once and part of a special edition album only for fans. They did a "mixed" version recently at Budokan 2021, thou. Fans tend to confuse and called wrong some other version saying "Unfinished" just because is a piano version, like "The One", is not, the only Unfinished version is Akatsuki and it is for a reason.
   Babymetal Death kamishibai at the beginning explains pretty much everything but what do not explain is they're saying or spelling B-A-B-Y-M-E-T-A-L (and then) DEATH DEATH DEATH!!
   Just like you noticed, what the girls said they're introducing themselves with a play words (pun intended), "SuMetal desu" means "I'm SuMetal", but they're saying or chanting "death". Back then when they were invited to TV shows or events to promote their music they used to introduced like that "SuMetal desu, YuiMetal desu, MoaMetal desu. We are BabyMetal." pulling out their tongues in a kawaii way but that was made also to learn the proper way to said or spell the "th" at the en of "death". 😜🤘

   So Lore not important ! Same fans say this regularly and thats there opinion It was to this performance and i think most fans would agree on that point . A lot of us enjoy the fun element to the lore which you seem to enjoy as well . Bowing to Su our Metal Goddess and Moa during Headbangèr is great fun .
